Frequently asked
questions
Honest answers about kittens, reservations, delivery, health documentation, and how we work. No deflection, no corporate language.
Reservations
How does the reservation process work?
A deposit of $200 holds your chosen kitten while your household prepares for homecoming. This deposit is applied toward the total price — it is not an additional fee. Reservation requests are reviewed personally before being confirmed, and you will hear from us within 24 hours of submitting.
What if my circumstances change after reserving?
Contact us as early as possible. We handle each situation individually and will always try to work with you on timing. We are not in the business of making difficult situations worse.
FaceTime preview
What is a FaceTime preview?
A FaceTime preview is a live video call during which we introduce your chosen kitten and let you see its personality in real time. It costs $100 and is fully applied toward the kitten price. Previews are available once a kitten is at least six weeks old and active enough to show its character clearly.
How do I request one?
Send a message through the contact page and mention that you would like a FaceTime session. We will schedule a time that works for both of us and confirm the details in advance.
Delivery & pickup
What delivery options are available?
Self-pickup at our cattery is always available at no extra cost. Ground delivery is available within driving distance from $100. Flight nanny service — where a trusted companion travels with your kitten in the aircraft cabin as carry-on — is available nationwide, typically from $300 depending on routing. Cargo is available when other methods are not feasible, though we prefer in-cabin transport for young kittens.
Are delivery costs confirmed before I commit?
Yes. All costs are confirmed in writing before you make any payment. Nothing changes after you have agreed to a price.
Health documentation
What health paperwork comes with my kitten?
Every kitten leaves with a physical health record documenting the veterinary examination, vaccination dates, deworming protocol, and any breed-specific screening results. We also send a written care summary covering feeding, litter habits, and first-week adjustment guidance. This is handed to you at pickup or included with your kitten during delivery.
Is there a health guarantee?
Yes. We provide a written health guarantee covering genetic and congenital conditions for a defined period after placement. The full terms are outlined on our Health Guarantee page.
Payment
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept bank transfer, Zelle, Apple Pay, Cash App, Venmo, Chime, and most major credit cards. Full payment is due before your kitten leaves our care. We will confirm the preferred method and send clear instructions before any transfer is needed.
Can I pay in installments?
Contact us to discuss. For families who need a phased payment arrangement, we will consider it on a case-by-case basis — provided the timeline aligns with when the kitten is ready to go home.
Waiting list
Can I reserve a kitten before the litter is born?
Yes. If you have a specific breed in mind and would like priority placement in a future litter, contact us. We maintain a waiting list for some breeds and will share the expected timeline and deposit requirements. There is no obligation to take the placement if the timing no longer works for your family.
