TICA Registered
Cattery.
The International Cat Association is one of the world’s largest registries of pedigreed cats. Our registration means verifiable lineage, documented health history, and accountability to a recognized standard.
What TICA registration means
Not just a logo. A set of obligations.
TICA registration requires The Gentle Giants Pet Store to maintain accurate breeding records, adhere to TICA breed standards, and operate in a manner consistent with the organization’s guidelines for registered catteries. It is an ongoing commitment, not a one-time certificate.
When you adopt from us, you receive registration documentation confirming your kitten’s lineage and allowing you to register the kitten in your own name. For families investing in a pedigreed cat, this documentation has real long-term value — the breeding history exists, can be independently verified, and is not fabricated.
Browse our registered kittens →Documented lineage
Every pedigreed kitten we produce has lineage documented across multiple generations with verifiable records. You can trace the ancestry of your kitten independently through TICA.
Breed standard adherence
TICA sets breed standards across more than 70 recognized breeds. Registration means we have committed to breeding within those standards and maintaining records that demonstrate it.
Transferable registration
When you adopt, the registration transfers to you. Your kitten can be registered in your name regardless of whether you plan to show or simply want the documentation on file.
